MongoDB introduced new capabilities at MongoDB.local NYC 2025, including MongoDB 8.2, Voyage AI embedding models and rerankers, and Search and Vector Search in public preview for Community Edition and Enterprise Server. The company also launched the Application Modernization Platform (AMP), which accelerates legacy system migrations two to three times faster.
