Microsoft launches $2.5B AI deployment business

Microsoft announced Microsoft Frontier Company, a new operating business backed by $2.5 billion and 6,000 engineers focused on enterprise AI deployments. The venture embeds staff with clients to design and improve AI systems. Early partners include London Stock Exchange Group, Unilever, Land O'Lakes, and Accenture. AWS committed $1 billion to a similar effort two days earlier.
