GE Aerospace, Kratos win JASSM engine contract

GE Aerospace and Kratos were named secondary propulsion supplier for Lockheed Martin's JASSM missile. Their co-branded GEK800 turbofan, generating 800 pounds of thrust, received the military designation F143 and an engineering, manufacturing and development contract. The dollar value was not disclosed.
