Sheffield-based biotechnology firm Silvia Bio raised £3M in seed funding on 15/10/2026. The round was led by Northern Gritstone with participation from Parkwalk Northern Universities Venture Fund, UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund, Wren Capital, and angel investors. CEO Ed Curry leads the team developing precision media additives to improve mammalian cell performance for bioproduction processes.
