Hax is a terminal-native coding agent written in C, distributed as a single static binary with minimal dependencies. It starts instantly, uses only a few MB of RAM, and supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Codex, OpenRouter, and llama.cpp providers. Installation is available via Homebrew or prebuilt Linux binaries.
