VW ID.Buzz US Return Delayed to 2028

Volkswagen told US dealers on September 24 that the ID.Buzz will skip the 2026 and 2027 model years, returning in the first half of 2027 as a 2028 model. The electric van, on sale since November 2024, sold just 6,140 units in 2025 and 2,481 in the first half of this year. The 2028 version adds reworked software, vehicle-to-load functionality and digital key integration.
