Nissan confirmed the Altima's discontinuation, with sales down 32% through 2026 to 42,288 units. The Rogue Plug-In Hybrid also departs after one model year. Nissan plans to focus on the Sentra and eventually replace the Altima and Maxima with EVs, likely by 2029 or 2030.
