Switch eShop gets speed boost from new update

Nintendo released system update Ver. 22.5.0 for the original Switch, adding a local eShop app that replaces the slow browser-based store. The update includes a new layout, a Basic Dark theme, and PIN code support for purchases. The eShop now performs comparably to the Switch 2's snappy storefront.
