Anthropic Launches Cheaper Claude Haiku 5.5

Anthropic releases Claude Haiku 5.5, its fastest small model, available now on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Prices drop by up to 90 percent for prompts up to 100,000 tokens, averaging 75 percent less than the predecessor. The model scores 1,620 on the GDPval benchmark, double the 735 of Haiku 4.5, and reaches 39.2 percent on Terminal-Bench 4.0.
