A federal judge ruled the Pentagon's supply chain risk designation of Anthropic was unconstitutional and illegal retaliation. Judge Rita F. Lin said national security is not a blank check to punish government critics. The designation marked the first time an American company was publicly blacklisted under the law.

Anthropic PBC previewed the Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a set of standardized drivers letting AI agents control physical devices like microscopes. The standard, developed with medical research institute HHMI, is currently a research preview aimed at streamlining scientific experiment integrations.

SpaceX will spend at least $100 billion building Starbase Louisiana, a 125,000-acre spaceport on Pecan Island in Vermilion Parish with five launch complexes, two pads each, and over 30 Starship flights daily. Construction starts in 2027, with first launch targeted for 2029.
