Apple Overhauls EU App Store Fees

Apple announced simplified EU App Store terms effective October 1, replacing the Core Technology Fee with a 5% Core Technology Commission on digital transactions outside the App Store. Commissions drop to 15% for link-outs, with new child safety protections and expanded marketplace eligibility. The European Commission welcomed the changes.
