OpenMandriva Linux Hit by Sabotage Attempt

OpenMandriva Linux accused former contributor Davide Beatrici of deleting years of repository work and pushing an empty package that could break desktop installations after a community dispute. The project is restoring data and conducting a full system audit, but decided not to pursue legal action despite calling the act a criminal offense.
