DeepSeek launches multimodal V4-Flash-Vision-Exp model
DeepSeek released experimental multimodal model DeepSeek-V4-Flash-Vision-Exp, adding image reading to V4-Flash. The Hangzhou company claims agent performance close to Anthropic's Opus-4.8, beating it on three of eleven benchmarks. It also shipped agent harness version 0.1.1.
