Chevrolet Is Already Cooking Up a Next-Generation Equinox EV

Chevrolet is preparing a second-generation Equinox EV set to launch in late 2028 or early 2029 as a 2029 model year. It will ride on GM's new BEV-N architecture, replacing the current BEV3 platform. Sales of the current Equinox EV reached 57,945 units in 2025 but have fallen to 16,249 through the first half of 2026.
