TSMC Pledges $100 Billion for US Expansion

TSMC announced an additional $100 billion investment to expand its Arizona manufacturing capacity, bringing total US pledges to $265 billion. The plan includes at least four new 2nm fabs. The company reported a record quarterly net profit of $22 billion and raised its 2026 capital expenditure forecast to as much as $64 billion.
