Intel Invests €5 Billion in Ireland Plant

Intel announced a €5 billion investment in its Leixlip, Kildare campus to expand manufacturing of Intel Xeon 6 chips and next-generation processors. The funding will create specialized jobs in construction and equipment installation, reinforcing Ireland's role as a European semiconductor hub. Intel has invested over €30 billion in Ireland since the late 1980s.
