Nintendo Switch 2 Gets User-Replaceable Battery

Nintendo is updating the Switch 2 with a user-replaceable battery starting this autumn, complying with EU Right to Repair rules. The new 5,172mAh battery is 1% smaller than the current 5,220mAh cell, and the console weighs 401 grams, 10 grams heavier. The change also applies to Joy-Con 2, Pro, N64, and GameCube controllers.
