Self-driving trucks are officially testing on California highways

California issued its first autonomous truck testing permits to Aurora Innovation and Kodiak AI, with Kodiak already running vehicles around Mountain View. Teamsters California filed suit on August 5 asking a court to repeal the rules that made the permits possible.
