Intel is renaming its top technical title, converting Fellows to Distinguished Engineers and Senior Fellows to Senior Distinguished Engineers. Intel CTO Pushkar Ranade told employees the change establishes a new standard for technical leadership, combining expertise with strategic vision and measurable progress. The move does not affect compensation.
