Volkswagen Group plans to cut its model lineup by up to 50 percent and reduce production capacity to 9 million vehicles annually by 2030. The automaker will also slash complexity by 75 percent and merge technology divisions. CFO Arno Antlitz stated that current cost reductions are insufficient, requiring a fundamental business realignment.
