A firmware flaw in Coinkite's Coldcard hardware wallets reduced seed entropy, letting attackers drain over 1,816 BTC worth roughly $116 million from more than 5,200 addresses, with total losses exceeding $130 million. The bug affected Mk2/Mk3, Mk4/Mk5, and Q models; only generating a new seed fixes exposed funds.
