Smartphone shipments fall 4% in Q2

Global smartphone shipments fell 4% in Q2 compared to last year, according to Omdia. Samsung led with 22% market share, followed by Apple at 20%. Xiaomi dropped to 11%, Oppo to 10%, and vivo to 8%. Memory and storage now account for over 60% of budget device costs.
