Tornyol, a Y Combinator-backed startup founded by former MBDA engineer Alex Toussaint, has built a 40-gram autonomous drone that uses ultrasonic sonar and AI to detect and kill mosquitoes mid-flight. The drone patrols up to five acres, flies for three minutes per charge, and costs $1,100 for the current prototype.
