Apple Halts Cheaper Vision Pro Display Development
Apple has suspended development of the display for a cheaper, lighter Vision Pro. Samsung Display will wind down the G-VR glass-substrate micro-OLED project, with formal termination expected by September. The display targeted 1,600 to 1,700 PPI, roughly half the current Vision Pro's 3,386 PPI.
