Olix raises $312M for optical AI chips

London-based Olix Computing Ltd. raised $312 million in Series C funding, valuing the AI hardware startup at $3.3 billion. The round included Arm Holding plc and Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings. Olix's DX-1 chip, shipping in the X-1 appliance, targets LLM decode workloads with SRAM and optical interconnect.
