French govt messaging service breached in account hijacking attack

Hackers breached France's encrypted Tchap messaging platform using a compromised user account, gaining access to public chat rooms. ANSSI detected the breach on June 7. DINUM blocked the account and alerted CNIL. An unverified hacker claim alleges access to 73,000 accounts and 643,000 messages.
