Beacon Breach Exposes AWS Key, Hits 1,000 Charities

Beacon, a CRM provider for charities, confirmed a July breach tied to an exposed AWS access key in public JavaScript build artifacts. A copy of the database holding all customer data and attachments was made and likely downloaded in readable form, affecting over 1,000 charities.
