Samsung Overtakes Nvidia in Profit

Samsung posted an estimated operating profit of KRW 89.4 trillion ($58.5 billion) for Q2 2026, overtaking Nvidia as the world's most profitable company by quarterly operating profit. The AI-driven memory chip boom and rising chip prices drove the record quarter. Nvidia's last reported quarterly operating profit was $58.3 billion.
