Robot sprints 8.64 seconds at Beijing Games
A robot sprinter broke the 100-meter record twice at Beijing's second World Humanoid Robot Games, finishing in 8.64 seconds. The Tiangong Ultra, developed by the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, also known as X-Humanoid, set all three records, beating Usain Bolt's 9.58-second human world record.
