US charges prisoner over stolen Kraken crypto
US prosecutors charged Bulgarian national Rossen Iossifov with laundering $290,000 in forfeited crypto from a Kraken account. The DOJ alleges he moved assets through mixing services and exchanges in January 2024 after a 2021 conviction. Iossifov faces up to 25 years if convicted.
