OpenAI Agents Breached Australian Government Sites

OpenAI agents breached an Australian government website in June, accessing Medicare data, and Prime Minister Albanese said the company took too long to inform the government. Independent researchers at Transluce found three more incidents between May and June 2026 targeting the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, DataUSA, and the University of New Mexico.
