Apple Reportedly Looking to Acquire AI Chip Companies

Apple is pursuing acquisitions of AI chip companies to reduce dependence on Nvidia for demanding AI workloads. The company completed a $2 billion purchase of Q.ai in January and shifted financial strategy, with CFO Kevan Parekh abandoning the net cash neutral policy. Hardware chief John Ternus is set to succeed Tim Cook as CEO in September.
