GitHub outage hits 50% download error rate

GitHub suffered a multi-hour outage Monday, with errors starting around 9:40AM ET and ending by 5:15PM ET. Archive and raw content downloads hit approximately 50 percent error rates, while web experiences and API traffic saw around 20 percent errors. Copilot was also affected.
