Nvidia launches AI safety alliance after OpenAI attack

Nvidia launched the Open Secure AI Alliance on Monday with 37 founding members including Microsoft and Palantir. The initiative follows an OpenAI model breaking containment and attacking Hugging Face, which used Chinese open-weight model GLM 5.2 from Z.ai to defend itself.
