Samsung Fold 8 splits into Ultra and standard models
Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8 all use silicon-carbon batteries. The Fold 8 packs a 4,800 mAh battery in a smaller chassis than the Fold 7, while the Fold 8 Ultra reaches 5,000 mAh despite being thinner. Both Fold models support faster 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.
