MSI's Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld comes out on June 23

MSI's Claw 8 EX AI+ gaming handheld launches on June 23 with an expected price around $1,500. The device features Intel's new Arc G3 Extreme chip, which Gizmodo notes is the reason for the "EX" in its name. Engadget reports the handheld was revealed during a hands-on event at MSI's Taipei headquarters before Computex 2026. The Claw 8 EX AI+ succeeds MSI's previous Claw 8 AI+ model, not to be confused with the earlier Claw 8 AI+. Gizmodo describes the controls as refined and extra comfortable. The premium price tag represents a significant jump from MSI's 2024 handhelds that started around $800.
