Oriole deploys photonic AI network with AMD

Oriole Networks will deploy the world's first large-scale pure photonic AI network with AMD Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs in the UK's ARIA Scaling Inference Lab. The company claims an 81% core power reduction and GPU idle time dropping from 60% to under 1%.
