Linux 7.1 drops 486 support, adds new NTFS driver

Linux kernel 7.1 removes support for Intel 486 chips and Baikal hardware, cutting over 140,000 lines of code. It introduces a new NTFS driver called NTFSplus, built on modern filesystem infrastructure, with read-write support and improved error handling. The driver replaces older NTFS implementations and includes updated ntfsprogs-plus utilities for repairing NTFS corruption.
