Hut 8 Signs $9.8B AI Lease for Texas Campus

Hut 8 shares jumped up to 14% after signing a $9.8 billion, 15-year lease for the second phase of its Beacon Point AI data center campus in Texas. The deal adds 352 megawatts of Nvidia-based AI capacity, fully commercializing the 1-gigawatt site and bringing the total base contract value to $19.6 billion.
