Snapchat stops recommending fully AI-generated Spotlight videos

Snapchat will stop recommending wholly AI-generated videos in its Spotlight feed, favoring authentic, human-made content. Fully AI-generated submissions no longer qualify for monetization, while videos edited with Snapchat's own AI tools remain eligible and carry visible AI indicators. Unique Spotlight contributors are up over 120% from last year.
