Accel doubles down on energy startup Axle

London-based virtual power plant software provider Axle Energy raised a $25 million Series A round led by Energize Capital. Existing investors Accel, Picus Capital, and Eka Ventures also participated. The company plans to scale its platform across the UK and international markets, targeting 75 million eligible energy assets in Europe and the United States.
