Google today announced the SynthID Detector is now available worldwide in English for everyone to identify AI-generated content. The tool lets users upload photos, videos, or audio to check for digital watermarks from Google, OpenAI, Nvidia, and Kakao, though it cannot detect AI-edited media and requires a sign-in. Apple plans to support SynthID later this year.
