Shopify Stock Sinks After Earnings Miss

Shopify stock fell 19 percent in pre-market trading after Q3 revenue of $3.74 billion missed analyst expectations ranging from $3.75 billion to $3.77 billion. While adjusted earnings per share reached 49 cents, surpassing the 47-cent consensus, the company reported 32 percent revenue growth and $119 billion in gross merchandise volume.
