China grants Geespace satellite IoT trial approval
China's MIIT approved Geespace, Geely Holding's commercial aerospace arm, to conduct commercial satellite IoT service trials for two years. Geespace is the second private company approved, after Beijing Guodian Gaoke Technology, and operates 64 GeeSAT satellites processing about 340 million requests daily.
