Galaxy Digital buys 500 acres for Texas AI data center

Galaxy Digital acquired a 500-acre site in McGregor, Texas for its second AI and HPC data center campus, launching with 74 megawatts of power capacity. MARA Holdings separately agreed to buy a 1,200-acre powered site in Matagorda County with access to up to 2 gigawatts of power capacity for AI, HPC, and Bitcoin mining.
