Two research teams independently solved an open quantum cryptography problem using OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra, submitting papers to arXiv.org three hours apart. MIT's Seyoon Ragavan and professors Prabhanjan Ananth and Amit Sahai tackled unclonable encryption and are considering merging their papers.
