OSFI Warns Banks on Anthropic Claude Mythos

Canada's banking watchdog, OSFI, named Anthropic's Claude Mythos in an April email to bank technology chiefs, warning that the advanced AI model compresses the timeframe for effective risk mitigation. The regulator, which typically avoids naming specific products, cited Mythos as a reason the window for fixing software flaws is closing. Access to Mythos is restricted through Anthropic's Project Glasswing program.
