Apple authenticating iPhone photos is just the start
iOS 27 Beta 5 references Apple Reference Image, a feature letting iPhone users authenticate photos as genuine via Apple servers. It will be off by default, aimed at journalists and legal users. Anthropic will watermark all future Claude text and images worldwide.
