OpenAI announced a $30 billion data center campus in Effingham County, Georgia, named Project Camellia. The 1,400-acre site will draw 3.2 gigawatts of power and be completed in phases between 2028 and 2032. OpenAI will pay full infrastructure and electric-service costs and provide $80 million in community benefits.
