The FBI built a small town to simulate cyberattacks

The FBI opened a 22,000-square-foot Kinetic Cyber Range in Huntsville, Alabama, last year. The replica town includes a hotel, gas station, hospital, and a data center with 200 servers. Trainees practice responding to ransomware, hacked vehicles, and other digital attacks in a contained environment.
